Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund, Columbus, will make between $130 million and $160 million in new private markets commitments in 2024.
The $16.7 billion pension fund's board approved the private markets investment plan for the upcoming year at its Nov. 1 meeting, said spokesman David Graham.
The pension fund does not issue RFPs.
The current allocation for private markets is 8.6%; the target is 10%. Graham said the pension fund has made a total of $195 million in commitments to private markets funds thus far in 2023.
