Orange County Employees Retirement System, Santa Ana, Calif., is looking for an investment officer, portfolio analytics and operations, a new senior position in the $20 billion pension fund's investment office.
The selected individual would serve as the liaison with OCERS' external service providers, including its custodian bank, proxy voting provider, risk system provider, securities lending provider and cash overlay manager. The person would "take the lead on several automation efforts that are critical for the continued success of the OCERS investment program," said Shanta Chary, director of investments, in an email.
The person would report to Ms. Chary.
"OCERS' investment program has grown in size and in complexity over the years," Ms. Chary said. "We are seeking an individual who can provide expert analytical and technical support for the Investment division in the areas of investment operations, investment reporting, performance measurement, portfolio analytics, and risk management."
