New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany, invested an additional $189 million in a separate account managed by Lisanti Capital Growth, according to the website of Thomas P. DiNapoli, state comptroller and sole trustee of the $279.7 billion pension fund.
The funds were added Jan. 24, the website said. Previously, the pension fund had invested about $90 million, said Matthew Sweeney, a spokesman for Mr. DiNapoli, in an email.
The Lisanti Capital Growth Account is benchmarked to the Russell 2500 Growth index, Mr. Sweeney wrote.
