Jan Goodwin was named executive director of the $9.4 billion New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord.
She will join the pension fund April 1, spokesman Marty Karlon said in an email.
Ms. Goodwin replaces George P. Lagos, who has been executive director of NHRS since February 2012. He will retire on March 1.
Tim Crutchfield, deputy executive director, will serve as interim executive director for the month of March.
Ms. Goodwin is currently executive director of the $14.2 billion New Mexico Educational Retirement Board, Santa Fe. Ms. Goodwin and Bob Jacksha, NMERB chief investment officer, could not be immediately reached for further information.
