George P. Lagos, executive director of the New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, plans to retire on March 1, 2021.
Mr. Lagos has led the $9 billion pension fund since February 2012, spokesman Marty Karlon said in an email.
The pension fund board is beginning a nationwide search for Mr. Lagos' replacement and intends to have someone in place by his retirement date, Mr. Karlon said.
