Martijn Scholten was named asset management director at MN, spokesman Michiel Cleij said in an email.
He will take on the role on Oct. 1, a news release said. He will replace Gerald Cartigny, who is joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management as managing director and head of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg client business, also on Oct. 1.
Mr. Scholten is currently director of fiduciary management at MN. Mr. Cleij said the process to name Mr. Scholten’s successor will begin in the next couple of weeks.
MN manages €155 billion ($171.1 billion) in assets for Dutch retirement plans.
