Bill Betts has been named as the next executive director of the $10.1 billion Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System, Jefferson City.
Mr. Betts, who will assume his new role on Jan. 3, succeeds Robert Wilson, who is retiring, according to a Dec. 2 news release.
Mr. Betts currently serves as the assistant executive director-operations for the $51.2 billion Missouri Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems, Jefferson City.
A spokeswoman for Missouri Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems said a successor to Mr. Betts has not yet been named.
