Dearld Snider was named executive director of the $45.6 billion Missouri Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems, the Jefferson City-based system announced in a news release.
Effective Dec. 1, he replaces M. Steve Yoakum, who will retire.
Mr. Snider is PSRS/PEERS' assistant executive director of operations.
Executive search firm EFL Associates assisted in the search for a new executive director.
