James R. Wilbanks announced plans to resign as executive director of the $550 million Mendocino County Employees Retirement Association, Ukiah, Calif.
According to his resignation letter to board Chairwoman Kathryn Cavness, Mr. Wilbanks' last day will be April 30.
"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Board, as well as the Association members and staff for the past five years," Mr. Wilbanks wrote in the letter. "I reflect with pride on my time here and recognize the many opportunities and challenges we faced together and how much I have learned and grown professionally through the experiences."
Mr. Wilbanks could not be immediately reached for additional information.
