Manchester (N.H.) Employees' Contributory Retirement System has named finalists in a shortlist search for an active international equity manager, said Gerard Fleury, executive director.
The $234 million pension fund will interview Baillie Gifford, GQG Partners and Hardman Johnston Global Advisors for the portfolio following the board's decision at its Oct. 13 meeting to terminate Gryphon International as its international equity manager, Mr. Fleury said.
He said the reason for the termination is not being disclosed. Gryphon managed $16 million in international equities, and Mr. Fleury said the number of managers being hired and the total allocation to the managers has yet to be determined.
The board is scheduled to make a selection at its Nov. 10 meeting.
