Maris E. LeBlanc was named executive director and general counsel of the $1.1 billion Louisiana Municipal Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge.
She replaces Warren D. Ponder, who retired March 1, Ms. LeBlanc said.
She was previously chief operating officer of the $12.4 billion Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, confirmed LASERS spokeswoman Tonja Normand.
