Jason Fletcher is leaving his role as CIO at London CIV, a U.K. pool of local authority pension funds, at the end of October, a spokesman confirmed.
Mr. Fletcher has been CIO since July 2020. Prior to that he was CIO of LGPS Central, Wolverhampton, England, another local authority pool of pension funds with £55 billion ($69.8 billion) in assets.
A search for a new CIO is underway, according to London CIV's LinkedIn page.
London CIV managed about £12.6 billion in public markets assets and about £2.3 billion in private markets assets as of Dec. 31 on behalf of the London pension funds.
Mr. Fletcher could not be immediately reached to comment about his new role.
