Louis-Paul Hill was appointed as investment fund oversight and strategy manager at Local Government Pension Scheme Central, Wolverhampton, England, according to a news release.
Hill will utilize his expertise in both public and private markets, asset management, and fund solutions in the role. His background in quantitative and qualitative analysis is also expected to assist in the development of robust risk management and asset allocation frameworks, the release said.

His extensive experience delivering advice to LGPS clients over many years will be an invaluable addition to the internal talent we already have,” said Richard Law Deeks, CEO of LGPS Central, in the release.
Hill joined LGPS Central from a consultancy role at Aon. During his tenure, he served as the lead advisor to numerous LGPS funds, including the Northern Ireland Local Government Officers' Superannuation Committee, North Yorkshire, and Shropshire.
During his career Hill also led investment projects for multiple pension funds, including West Sussex, West Yorkshire, Rhondda, and Teesside, and was lead advisor to Merseyside for a decade. Most recently, he provided independent investment advice to Cumbria Pension Fund.
Recent additions to LGPS Central include within the fixed income team, with Roger Webb joining from abrdn and Simon Hancock joining from Tesco Pension Investment. Carl Shepherd is set to join LGPS Central from Newton Investment Management later this month.
LGPS Central had assets of £30 billion (£40.1 billion) as of Sept. 30.
