Linda Webb was named executive director of the $2.6 billion Fort Worth (Texas) City Employees' Retirement Fund.
She will join the pension fund Aug. 22, a news release said.
Ms. Webb replaces Benita Falls Harper, who left the pension fund in September to join Aon in an executive position focusing on governance consulting. Eleza Bennett, the pension fund's benefits manager, has been serving as interim executive director since Ms. Harper's departure.
Ms. Webb is currently retirement administrator of the $7.3 billion Ventura County (Calif.) Employees' Retirement Association. She could not be immediately reached for further information on her departure from that pension fund.
Fort Worth City Employees spokesman Jeff Rodriguez could not immediately provide further information.
