The Church Pension Fund (Episcopal), New York, returned an annualized net 11.9% in the three years ended March 31, according to the $17.3 billion pension fund’s annual report released Tuesday.
The return exceeded its three-year benchmark of 10%, according to the report. For the five and 10 years ended March 31, the pension returned an annualized net 11.5% and 9.5%, respectively, above their respective benchmarks of 10% and 7.5%.
The pension fund does not provide returns by individual asset classes or return information for the fiscal year ended March 31, spokesman Curt Ritter said in an email.
As of March 31, the actual asset allocation was 22.9% private equity, 21.3% global equities, 21% global fixed income, 19% specialized strategies, 8.3% real estate, 4.7% cash and 2.8% private specialty strategies.
