Joanna Adams was named pension administrator of the $10.5 billion Delaware Public Employees' Retirement System, Dover.
She replaces David Craik, who retired Jan. 1, Ms. Adams confirmed.
Mr. Craik, who had been at DPERS for 32 years, including 23 years as pension administrator, first announced his retirement in June.
Ms. Adams, previously deputy pension administrator, said the pension fund will soon post an advertisement for her previous position.
