Agus Tandiono was named head of Asia and Maximilian Biagosch was named head of Europe for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Toronto.
Mr. Tandiono, who serves as head of fundamental equities Asia, joined the board's senior management team Wednesday as senior managing director and Asia regional head, while retaining his previous title, according to a news release.
He replaces Suyi Kim, who became senior managing director and global head of private equity on Sept. 15.
Mr. Biagosch also joined the senior management team as senior managing director and Europe regional head, while retaining his ongoing role as head of direct private equity.
The board oversees management of the C$541.5 billion ($423.4 billion) Canada Pension Plan.
A CPPIB spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for further comment.
