Gail Strohl, CEO of the $10.4 billion Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association, Concord, Calif., has resigned.
The resignation was effective July 5, said Christina Dunn, deputy CEO, in an email. Ms. Dunn said she will serve as acting CEO until a permanent replacement for Ms. Strohl is found.
Ms. Strohl joined CCCERA as its CEO in 2014, replacing the retiring Marilyn Leedom. Ms. Strohl had previously been retirement program administrator for the $3.1 billion Phoenix City Employees' Retirement System.
Ms. Dunn had no further information on Ms. Strohl's plans or the reason for her resignation.
