The CalPERS board on Wednesday voted to give CEO Marcie Frost a fiscal year 2021 incentive award of $143,590, and a base salary of $534,689 for fiscal year 2022.
There was no discussion and one board member, Margaret Brown, voted against the awards.
The board of the $491.8 billion California Public Employees' Retirement System, Sacramento, gave Ms. Frost incentive awards of $100,617 for fiscal year 2020 and $99,920 for fiscal year 2019.
Ms. Frost's base salary for fiscal year 2022 represents a 6.3% raise from 2021. Her fiscal year 2020 base salary was $343,949.
