David Vickers was named CIO of Brunel Pension Partnership, Bristol, England, effective in the new year, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Vickers will replace Mark Mansley. Mr. Mansley resigned from the £30 billion ($39.6 billion) pool in May.
"David is the ideal candidate to lead our high-performing investment team into Brunel's next phase, as we approach completion of our fund launches. His experience with several major investment houses, as well as his multiasset acumen, make him a great fit. Just as importantly, he shares our commitment to investing for a world worth living in," Laura Chappell, CEO of Brunel, said in a news release.
Mr. Vickers is head of multiasset for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Russell Investments. Details of any replacement could not be learned.
