Laura Chappell was named CEO of Brunel Pension Partnership, Bristol, England, according to the website of the pool of U.K. local authority pension funds.
Ms. Chappell, the £30 billion ($39 billion) fund's chief compliance and risk officer, was acting CEO since September 2019, following the departure of Dawn Turner in July 2019.
Ms. Chappell will be replaced as chief compliance and risk officer or a similar role, a spokesman said.
"As a highly experienced professional with a strong risk management background, it was clear that Laura had the best fit we were seeking. Laura is closely aligned with our values and the investment principles that form the foundation of Brunel," Denise Le Gal, chairwoman of the Brunel board, said in a news release.
