Dawn Turner, CEO of Brunel Pension Partnership, Bristol, England, has resigned from her position, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Turner has indicated that the £30 billion ($38 billion) fund needs a different style of leadership to take it to its next stage of development — becoming a fully formed investment management company, Brunel said in a statement.
Ms. Turner will step down before Sept. 30 to pursue a "portfolio career," the statement said.
"We do not yet have a replacement CEO lined up," the spokeswoman said, noting that the board will soon begin the process of recruiting its next CEO.
