Rod Graves, deputy director of the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, will become interim executive director of the $20.3 billion, Little Rock-based pension fund following Executive Director Clint Rhoden's last day with ATRS on April 28, according to an announcement Tuesday.
The announcement on the ATRS website said Mr. Graves will serve in that interim role until a new executive director is named.
The ATRS board began the process of launching a search following Mr. Rhoden's announcement on March 10 that he would resign. The executive director said he was leaving for personal reasons and would look forward to spending more time with his family.
