Rob Schormans was named managing director for pension execution at APG Asset Management, the in-house manager of Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, Heerlen, Netherlands, a spokesman confirmed.

"Our pension fund customers, employers and participants count on flawless pension administration and services, collection and payment of pensions by APG. Ensuring that data and systems are ready for the transition to the new pension system is also a top priority," Ms. Van Dierendonck said in a news release.
New Dutch reforms will require existing Dutch retirement plans to move to defined contribution arrangements by Jan. 1, 2027. "With (Mr. Schormans') proven success and experience in major transformations, he has everything to take APG even further in the coming years," she added.
Mr. Schormans held management positions at ABN AMRO Bank before joining APG in 2018 as board member for the members and employers services. Details of his replacement could not be learned.
