Will Goodhart, CEO at CFA U.K., will step down from his role early next year.
Goodhart joined the organization for U.K. investment professionals in 2006. Membership has doubled to 12,000 professionals since he joined, a news release announcing his intention to step down said.
The CFA U.K. board of directors has launched a search for his successor, engaging Sapphire Partners on the process.
“Will has been instrumental in the growth and success of our society, serving for nearly two decades,” Hilary Eastman, chair of the board of directors, said in the release. “As he steps down, he leaves the legacy of an organization transformed to shape and support the future of investment management. We cannot thank him enough for all that he has done and wish him the very best for the future.”
CFA U.K. is part of the worldwide network of CFA Institute member societies. The CFA Institute creates the curriculum, code of ethics and exams that underpin the CFA qualification.
