Patricia Halper was named deputy chief investment officer at Wespath Benefits and Investments, an agency of the United Methodist Church, Glenview, Ill., with over $24 billion in assets.
The position is new. Ms. Halper, who joined Wespath on Sept. 28, will work with CIO David Zellner in providing strategic advice on the organization’s investment funds and its broader sustainable investment initiatives, spokeswoman Christina Tincher said.
She was previously partner and CIO at Chicago Equity Partners, which announced in April that it was closing and returning assets its institutional clients.
