Patrick Lo and Brian Rebello were named co-chief investment officers of alternative money manager Waterfall Asset Management.
They replace Thomas Buttacavoli, who has stepped down from the role and is in discussions with the firm regarding "potential future opportunities," said a news release Wednesday.
Messrs. Lo and Rebello are both partners at the firm, the news release said. Both have been serving as portfolio managers, according to the firm's website.
As of Sept. 1, Waterfall Asset Management had about $11.2 billion in assets under management. A spokesman could not immediately provide further information.
