Tom Frost was named managing director and head of EMEA insurance and pension solutions at Voya Investment Management, spokesman Kristopher Kagel said in an email.
It is a new position. Based in London, Mr. Frost delivers "asset management solutions to insurance, pension and sovereign wealth fund clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa," according to a news release Tuesday.
Mr. Frost reports to Charlie Shaffer, senior managing director and head of distribution, and John Simone, managing director and head of insurance solutions.
Mr. Frost was previously head of business development, EMEA, for London-based private equity firm Interritus Advisory. Officials at the firm could not be immediately reached for comment.
As of March 31, Voya Investment Management had more than $210 billion in assets under management.
