Christoph von Reiche will join Swiss asset management firm Vontobel as head of institutional clients, according to a news release.
Von Reiche will lead the firm’s global distribution strategy and growth efforts, and will start in the role immediately. He replaces Marko Röder, who stepped down last year.
Christoph von Reiche brings nearly 30 years of financial services experience, with more than 20 years in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Vontobel, he was global head of distribution and marketing at Robeco Institutional Asset Management. Replacing von Reiche at Robeco is Malick Badjie, who was appointed global head of sales and marketing and a member of the executive committee.
“Christoph brings a shared commitment to our investment-led and client-centric culture. With his longstanding experience and demonstrated track record in understanding clients, markets and trends, he will play a pivotal role in sharpening and accelerating our institutional distribution capabilities,” said Christel Rendu de Lint, co-chief executive at Vontobel, in a news release.
Vontobel has CHF 61.5 billion ($115 billion) in assets under management.
