Craig Thomas, co-founder, has been named sole chief investment officer of Verger Capital Management, an investment adviser that provides outsourced chief investment officer services to non-profit institutions.
Mr. Thomas formerly served as co-chief investment officer along with Jim Dunn, who is relinquishing that title to focus on his duties as chief executive officer, said a news release Thursday.
Mr. Thomas will assume sole responsibility for "leading the firm's investment team, overseeing the development and execution of investment strategies, and driving the continued growth and success of the firm's portfolios," the news release said.
Mr. Dunn said in the release that he will now "spend more of my time focused on the strategic vision and long-term growth of the firm."
Verger has $2.5 billion in assets under management.
