June Wong joined Value Partners Group as president of the $11.5 billion Hong Kong-listed money manager, effective Monday.
Ms. Wong is filling a position that's been vacant since King Au left that role in August 2020.
She is tasked with managing the firm's overall business and corporate strategy and operations, reporting directly to Cheah Cheng Hye and Louis So, Value Partners' co-chairmen and co-chief investment officers, according to a news release.
Ms. Wong previously served as State Street Global Advisors' CEO for Asia ex-Japan, leaving that role in February. Kevin Anderson replaced Ms. Wong in that role.
