Christophe de Dardel was named CEO of Unigestion, replacing Fiona Frick after 12 years in the role.
Mr. de Dardel will become CEO effective Jan. 1, subject to regulatory approval. Ms. Frick, who has worked at Unigestion for 32 years, will "pursue other interests close to her heart as a board member and consultant on investment allocation and sustainability issues," a news release said. She will also work to connect the finance industry, sustainability and academia.
Mr. de Dardel has been head of private equity at Unigestion for 22 years. He will remain closely involved in the firm's $11 billion private equity unit and will continue in his role on the private equity investment committee.
Details on a replacement will be made in due course, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. de Dardel's "values, professionalism and vision will make him the best leader for Unigestion's future" — for both its clients and employees, Ms. Frick said in the news release.
Unigestion had a total $19.4 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
