Nicole Goldberger joined UBS Asset Management in its New York office Monday as managing director and portfolio manager to oversee growth portfolios in the firm's investment solutions unit.
Ms. Goldberger also will engage with the firm's investors and prospects, an internal memo obtained by Pensions & Investments said.
The position is new, UBS spokeswoman Sheryl Lee confirmed.
Ms. Goldberger will report to Philip Brides, managing director and global head of portfolio management, investment solutions, who is based in Chicago.
Previously, Ms. Goldberger was managing director and portfolio manager within J.P. Morgan Asset Management's multiasset solutions group.
Victoria N. Zarella, a J.P. Morgan spokeswoman, declined to comment about Ms. Goldberger’s replacement.
UBS Asset Management managed a total of $879 billion as of Nov. 30, of which $125 billion was run by the investment solutions group.
