Jonathan Hollick was named chief investment officer of UBS Asset Management's real estate business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (excluding Switzerland), a spokeswoman said in an email.
It is a new position; Mr. Hollick will be based in London. He starts on Tuesday and will report to Reto Ketterer, head of real estate EMEA (excluding Switzerland).
Mr. Hollick will also become chairman of a newly formed European growth group at UBS Asset Management, composed of senior real estate directors from across UBS Asset Management's EMEA group.
Mr. Hollick currently is head of transactions U.K. and portfolio manager of UBS Asset Management's U.K. real estate fund, Triton Property Fund. He will continue in the latter role, while other team members will take on the responsibilities of the former role, the spokeswoman said.
