Tiffany Gherlone was named head of asset management real estate U.S. in UBS Asset Management's real estate and private markets business, a spokeswoman confirmed.
She will replace Jim Fishman and Tom Enger, who were previously co-heads. Mr. Fishman left the firm to pursue other opportunities, and Mr. Enger joined the new ESG investment strategies team led by Darren Rabenou.
Ms. Gherlone will be responsible for developing and communicating the operating strategy for the firm's U.S. properties. She will also lead the firm's collaborative efforts across the broader investment team. She will be based in Hartford, Conn., and report to Matt Johnson, head of real estate U.S.
Ms. Gherlone was head of research and strategy for real estate U.S. at UBS AM. The firm is currently searching for a replacement.
UBS AM has about $1.1 trillion in assets under management.
