Simon Males joined Tikehau Capital as head of the U.K. institutional business, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The position is new, and Mr. Males started this month.
Based in London, Mr. Males works closely with Carmen Alonso, head of U.K. and head of Iberia, and Frederic Giovansili, deputy CEO of subsidiary Tikehau Investment Management and global head of sales, marketing and business development. Mr. Males is responsible for strengthening client relationships with U.K. institutional investors, including corporate pension funds, as well as with consultants and fiduciary managers.
The firm's U.K. institutional AUM was not disclosed.
Tikehau Capital had €28.5 billion ($35 billion) in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
Mr. Males founded Carrick Roads Capital, an institutional consulting and capital-raising firm. He will close the firm, the spokeswoman added.
