Raphael Thuin was named head of capital markets strategies at Tikehau Capital, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Thuin replaced Etienne Gorgeon, who decided to pursue another professional challenge, the spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Thuin oversees the management of the firm's bond, equity and flexible investment strategies with €3.8 billion ($4.2 billion) in assets under management, reporting to Thomas Friedberger, CEO and co-CIO of Tikehau's investment management platform.
"We are delighted to welcome Raphael Thuin to our team," Mr. Friedberger said in a news release. "His experience and deep understanding of equity and fixed-income markets perfectly complement our long-term fundamental management approach."
Mr. Thuin worked as head of fixed-income management at TOBAM. Axel Cabrol, deputy head of fixed income at TOBAM replaced Mr. Thuin at TOBAM, according to a TOBAM spokeswoman.
Tikehau Capital had €25.8 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
