Jess Ravich, who served as group managing director and head of alternative products at TCW Group, has left the company, TCW spokesman Doug Morris confirmed in an email.
Mr. Morris declined to disclose where Mr. Ravich went or why he left.
Last year, Mr. Ravich was accused of sexually harassing Sara Tirschwell, a former managing director of TCW's distressed debt strategy group and portfolio manager of the TCW Distressed Fund. In a suit filed against TCW and Mr. Ravich on Jan. 25, 2018, Ms. Tirschwell alleged that the firm fired her after she had lodged a sexual harassment complaint against Mr. Ravich, who was her direct supervisor.
Mr. Ravich denied the allegations.
TCW will name a new head of alternatives "in due course," Mr. Morris wrote.
