Kevin Collins, the head of T. Rowe Price's retirement plan services business, will become head of the firm's U.S. intermediaries business, effective March 1, T. Rowe Price announced in a news release on Feb. 7.
Collins succeeds Dee Sawyer who vacated the role on Jan. 1 when she became head of global distribution, a group responsible for sales, marketing and client service globally across all distribution channels.
In his new role, Collins will be responsible for leading all wealth and retirement teams accountable for sales, marketing and client service, within T. Rowe Price's U.S. Intermediaries business, which supports financial advisors and consultants in the intermediary channel.
Francisco Negron will assume Collins' current role as head of retirement plan services, also effective March 1. Negron has overseen RPS' client services organization for the past 12 years.
In addition, T. Rowe Price named Annie Brown, head of the USI broker/dealer group, and Jim Zurad, head of the USI national banks and RIAs group, co-heads of USI wealth management. Brown will lead the unit's national accounts management team across the broker/dealer, global banks and platform groups, while Zurad will lead its field sales organization. The two are company veterans, having joined T. Rowe Price in 1993 and 1996, respectively.
The appointments follow the formation of a global retirement strategy team in January to coordinate retirement initiatives, research and expertise globally. The new team is led by Michael Davis, a former deputy assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Labor who has been head of defined contribution specialists in T. Rowe Price's Americas institutional business since 2016.
