Kim Hochfeld joined State Street Global Advisors as senior managing director and global head of the firm's cash business within its global institutional group.
Ms. Hochfeld will be responsible for all client-facing activities, including sales, strategy, operations and services on behalf of the firm's cash management client base across the Americas; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Asia-Pacific, a news release said.
She will lead a global, cross-regional sales team to market and expand SSGA's global institutional cash management offerings to corporate treasury departments, financial intermediaries and other institutional cash investors.
Ms. Hochfeld was a managing director and head of liquidity distribution for EMEA and Asia at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. MSIM spokeswoman Lauren Bellmare could not be immediately reached for additional information.
SSGA had $3.12 trillion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
The firm has not yet announced a replacement but plans to do so in the near future, MSIM spokeswoman Lauren Bellmare said.
