Jorg Ambrosius was named head of State Street Corp.'s U.K., Europe, Middle East and Africa business, spokesman Marc Hazelton confirmed in an email.
Mr. Ambrosuis, whose start date is pending regulatory approval, will replace Liz Nolan, who replaced Jeffrey Conway in February as State Street's head of global delivery. Ms. Nolan has been continuing her EMEA and U.K. responsibilities on an interim basis since then.
Mr. Ambrosius, who will also serve on State Street's management committee, will report to Francisco Aristeguieta, who takes on his newly created role as CEO of State Street Corp.'s international business this month.
Most recently, Mr. Ambrosius, an executive vice president who originally joined State Street in 2001, was co-head of State Street's global services business in EMEA and head of global sovereign wealth servicing business. Who will take on these roles has yet to be determined.
State Street had $31.62 trillion in assets under custody and administration and $2.51 trillion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
