Dave Wiederecht, executive vice president and global head of global fiduciary solutions at State Street Global Advisors, retired Sept. 1, spokeswoman Olivia Offner confirmed in an email.
The GFS team will merge with SSGA's investment solutions group as a single multiasset class unit and report to Dan Farley, chief investment officer, ISG.
SSGA had $3.9 trillion in assets under management as of June 30.
