Miles O'Connor retired as head of institutional for Europe, Middle East and Africa at State Street Global Advisors, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. O'Connor was responsible for existing institutional client relationships and developing new business across the region. He held the role since January 2018 when he joined the firm.
Marie-Anne Heeren, head of Continental Europe, assumed Mr. O’Connor's responsibilities in her expanded role of European institutional distribution head. Based in Brussels, she reports to Lochiel Crafter, head of SSGA’s global institutional group and Cuan Coulter, head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
SSGA had $3.12 trillion in assets under management as of Dec. 31
