Marc Brookman was named CEO of Spouting Rock Asset Management.
Mr. Brookman joined the firm Monday, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Mr. Brookman succeeds Andrew Smith, who assumed the role of chairman, said a news release Wednesday. Mr. Smith had been CEO since 2018.
The current chairman, John Coyne, is "transitioning into an advisory role for the firm and will remain an investor," the news release added.
Mr. Brookman was CEO of Schroder Investment Management North America, a Schroders spokeswoman said.
Parent company Schroders on Jan. 12 announced an internal restructuring of its "groupwide leadership team" that resulted in, among other things, Mr. Brookman leaving the firm "to pursue other opportunities," said a Schroders news release at the time.
The Schroders spokeswoman said in an email that Phil Middleton was named CEO of Schroders North America in January.
Spouting Rock had $3.1 billion in assets under management as of March 31, the spokeswoman said.
