Alix Faure was appointed head of ESG for Sienna Investment Managers, the asset management arm of GBL said in a news release Thursday.
Ms. Faure is based in Paris. Sienna has offices in Luxembourg, London, Paris, Hamburg, Madrid, Amsterdam, Zurich and Seoul.
The firm managed €30 billion ($29.2 billion) as of September. Its strategies include real estate, private debt, private and public market funds, and private equity, the news release said.
Ms. Faure was the head of responsible development at Comgest. Before that, she had served as head of sustainable investment at the French asset management association AFG since 2019. Comgest had $30.7 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
A spokesman for Comgest said: “We have identified a strong replacement for the role, but we do thank Alix Faure for her contributions to the firm and wish her every success.”
