Elise Rosenberg was named managing director and head of business development at Seven Bridges Advisors, spokesman Peter Himler confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Ms. Rosenberg will oversee the firm's marketing and business development operations. She will also be responsible for increasing the investment community's awareness of Seven Bridges. She will report to Laurence W. Cohen, partner and CEO.
Ms. Rosenberg was director of capital solutions at Barclays. A Barclays spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.
Seven Bridges Advisors has $5 billion in assets under management.
