Sneha Shah was appointed executive vice president and head of new business ventures at SEI Investments.
It is a new position. Ms. Shah will report to CEO Ryan Hicke, said a news release Tuesday.
Ms. Shah will "lead new business and platform identification and incubation; engage clients, accelerators, and the entrepreneurial community to invest in and accelerate new ideas and solutions; and cultivate innovation that drives top-line growth," the news release said.
Ms. Shah will be based at SEI's corporate headquarters in Oaks, Pa., a spokeswoman said in an email.
Ms. Shah most recently was managing director and group head of the London Stock Exchange Group's business accelerator, where she "created and scaled new businesses at the intersection of data, artificial intelligence, and technology," the release added. LSEG could not be immediately reached for further details.
SEI had $1.3 trillion in assets under management, advisement and administration as of March 31.
