Jim London was named CEO of SEI Investments (Europe), a spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. London will succeed Brett Williams when he retires on June 30. The appointment is pending regulatory approval.
Mr. London retains his responsibilities as head of SEI's U.K. private banking and wealth management business. He is also currently chief operating officer. SEI is looking for a new COO, according to a news release Tuesday.
"From strategic growth and acquisitions to market and regulatory changes, Jim has played a critical leadership role in the successful implementation and ongoing engagement of clients in the U.K. He continues to lead key initiatives to evolve our operating model, including the exploration and application of emerging technologies to drive efficiency and scale," Ryan Hicke, CEO of SEI, said in the release.
SEI had $1.3 trillion in assets under management and administration as of March 31.
