Lily Choh was named deputy CEO, Singapore, at Schroder Investment Management.
The role is new. Ms. Choh retains her position as head of institutional, Asia-Pacific.
She oversees the firm's businesses in Malaysia and Thailand as well as Singapore, a spokesman for the firm said in an email.
Ms. Choh reports to Susan Soh, country head of Singapore and co-head of Asia-Pacific. Ms. Soh was appointed to the co-head role last week alongside Chris Durack, head of Schroders' Australia business.
A Schroders news release said the firm currently manages more than S$40 billion ($27.8 billion) in Southeast Asia and £500.2 billion ($613.2 billion) globally.
