Mariano Belinky is leaving his role as global CEO of Santander Asset Management, according to an employee memo provided by the firm.
Mr. Belinky has chosen to move on to new endeavors out of the group after three years, the memo said. Mr. Belinky, who was based in London, was appointed to the role in 2018. Details on when he will depart were not provided.
In the coming months, to ensure a smooth transition, board chairman Victor Matarranz will lead Santander Asset Management until Mr. Belinky's replacement is appointed, the memo said.
Santander AM had €181 billion ($215.5 billion) in assets under management as of June 30.
